To celebrate John Lewis and live up to the special highlighting him, Jesse Collins of Jesse Collins Entertainment tapped Michael to creative produce and design a show-stopping performance for Jennifer Hudson. Knowing that this performance would start the show and feature the song "Bridge Over Troubled Water", Michael and his team searched all along the Chicago River for the performance location. This performance featured Jennifer perched on the iconic London Guarantee Building within the cupola overlooking Chicago's Michigan Ave and the Chicago River, filmed during the "golden hour" of sunset, with an array of drones and stationary cameras.
